After inheriting this West Village walk up, our client decided to renovate the six apartments to take advantage of the thriving New York City rental market. The goal of the renovation was to modernize the multi-family brownstone while retaining the charm of the original building.
Quadrant Development Consultants restored the front facade of the brownstone to its original intended finish. We also restored the fire escape. Looking inside, we modernized each apartment while paying homage to the structure’s inherent details:
- Updated the kitchens in each apartment with new cabinets, wood floors, and stainless steel appliances
- Renovated the bathrooms with custom glass shower enclosures, high end marble stone, and white subway tiles—which offer a unique look when juxtaposed with the original exposed brick.
- Retained historic details, such as the exposed brick.
